My name is Lauren and I am the founder of Clarity and Compassion Counseling. We are a group of holistic and compassionate therapists experienced in working with clients who are struggling with anxiety, burnout, and relationship or parenting challenges that may be rooted in past traumas or adverse experiences.

We help clients do the deep work of healing the individual and relational trauma or adverse experiences at the root of their issues while building patterns that bring more joy, ease, alignment, and connection into their daily lives. A therapy session with our team engaging and empowering. We may help you explore mind-body practices to retrain your nervous system, try a new communication skill, understand your attachment style, engage in an experiential session of couples work, or problem-solve a current challenge. Our clients feel supported during sessions because we are always helping you discover insights, asking questions, guiding you in practices, and creating an affirming space for them to grow. 

We are an affirming practice who is committed to creating healing space for clients who are part of the BIPOC community, LGBTQIA+ community, and others who may have stayed away from therapy because they fear that their lifestyles and ways of being (from polyamory to healthy substance use), interests (from astrology to herbology),or past choices might be judged.
